Academic Programs
B.E.L.L. (Blissfield Environmental Life Lab): Located at Blissfield Elementary School, this environmental lab, complete with butterfly house, stream system, aviary, fresh and salt water specimens, and plants and flowers, is open to students at all grade levels for study and is also open to community members. The B.E.L.L. lab is operated by the Blissfield Community Schools in collaboration with Adrian College, Michigan State University, the Toledo Zoo, and other institutions.

High School
All members of the graduating class have the option to accept more than $8,000 in interest-free loans to pay for higher education.
Advanced Placement English and advanced science and mathematics courses.
Specialized Courses: zoology, genetics, ceramics, jewelry/metals, humanities, website design, and more.

Junior High School and Elementary
Career Education in 7th and 8th grades

K-5 Fine Arts Programming
All elementary students visit the computer lab with their teachers at least once per week.
Weather station at Blissfield Elementary School that is linked with Weathernet 11, a network of weather stations used by Toledo’s WTOL TV, Channel 11.

Special Education
Several teachers in the district have specialization in Special Education.
Special Education students are taught on the school campus unless students have needs beyond the capabilities of the district.
Students with greater needs are serviced by the Milton C. Porter Center in the Lenawee-Intermediate School District.

The LISD Tech Center

Operated by the Lenawee-Intermediate School District, the Vo-Tech Center is open to Blissfield students and adults in the community.
Vo-Tech provides job training, job retraining, career counseling, career pathways, and help in finding a job.
Vo-Tech offers programs in the fields of Arts and Communication, Business, Education and Public Service, Environmental and Natural Resources, Health, and Manufacturing Technology and Engineering.
