The Blissfield Parks and Recreation Department is proud to serve the citizens of Blissfield with quality recreation programs and well-maintained parks. The Recreation Division strives to offer fun, affordable, year-round activities for all ages.

The Village of Blissfield Parks and Recreation Department understands that quality of life is vital to the residents of Blissfield. The limited facilities and recreational programs provided by the Parks and Recreation Department contribute directly to the health and well-being of the entire community. The Department is a dynamic organization that constantly responds to change and continues to develop new programs.
Parks & Recreation provides a variety of programs for residents including special events, athletic programs and tournaments, aquatics, nature service programs, special recreation programs, teen activities, and senior citizen programs.
The Instructional Recreation Program offers a variety of athletic programs, special interest classes, and an aquatic program offering swimming lessons.
The Special Events Program provides special event and cultural activities throughout the year. A few examples of Special Events are; Junior Olympics, Safety City and Basketball Skills Challenge.
In Athletic Services, participants are provided the opportunity to compete in organized leagues, events, and tournaments.

While fun, happiness and play are vital to growth and development, the expanded role of public parks and recreation is more critical than ever.
